Christmas Dinner This Year...Maine Lobstahhhhh and Maine Blueberries!

maine lobster feed, mooers realty

Had a friend pick up Maine lobsters for $2.50 a pound off the boat on the coast of Maine. Whoaaaa.

Maybe having a little lobster for the holidays, say a stew Christmas Eve would make the season brighter.  Or a fresh made Maine blueberry pie with some vanilla ice cream on it could finish the perfect meal this holiday season. Learn about the 60,000 acres of blueberries grown in Maine. This year's crop was big..90 million pounds compared to the 75 million average. Roughly a 40% drop in price this year due to the large yield in Maine and Canada. Wild Maine blueberries usually sell fro around $1.16 a pound to cooperatives but this year some growers are letting them go for 64 cents a pound. Hard work in the sun to rake them too! But nothing like being out on the cold, windy, big wave Maine coast dropping and hoisting lobby tracks on the open sea. Having the product shipped to you is a piece of cake too...you see at the Maine airports easy, quick ways to sign up to have some Maine lobster packed in seaweed and waiting for you when you get home.  What's on your menu for maine real estate, mooers realty, houlton maineChristmas and New Year's this season?

Hi Andrew - our prices for lobster are so low, aren't they? It's almost so cheap we should be eating it several times a week! That lobster dinner is looking so yummy...... Merry Christmas! Ann

Ok I'm jealous. All we get down here is shrimp painted red. Have a great holiday season and be well. T

Lobster game...think it is like beer pong..a drinking game by the sounds of the music in back ground and folks staggering over with their quarter to give it a whirl! Christmas Eve lobster stew..crab cakes with cheese..lots of appetizers...holiday music you remember as a kid, making traditions for your kids.  That's Christmas..not just presents.  Christmas Eve church service, lighting candles, holding hands around a church and singing, counting our blessings, connecting with each other.  Christmas is a joyous time and sad for reminders of those you have lost and loved.  But everyone goes thru it..make this season different and ring that Salvation Army bell, help out someone shut in..
