Maine Real Estate For Sale !

Before You Build, Search Existing Property Listings.

The land sales in Maine are brisk and many want to just own and enjoy playing in the dirt.

The ground around them. To build in time what they had in mind to create for a construction project to complete on the land in Maine. But sometimes there is a clock ticking. Pressure to get those kids in and not stacked up like cord wood. Space for the family, no time to run a nail gun if you are wearing the carpenter's belt and a pencil rides on your head. Tucked behind your ear for quick calculations in the measure twice, cut once. 283 north st houlton me home for sale photo

Existing properties in Maine for sale that are not just bare undeveloped land.

A home, building that someone else long ago or recently put up to be just what the purpose called for are out there.

Some had "too many cooks in the kitchen".

Are a royal mess to untangle. Because property owner number one went this way, the rest in the series of real estate transfers had very different ideas on what the place needed Should look like when all done to feather the nest best for their desires. On just which steps to take to make it over the way they see should be done to pour in and change what was lacking for their tastes. It's their property to do as they see fit. But suddenly "next"! The responsibility of another home owner to figure out now what to do.

To make it fit the real estate needs of the new occupant. The undo, redo, make do can still leave a tapped out home owner feeling queasy.

Wishing they had reached for the housing blue prints. Loaded in the number of an architect, contractor and all the other assortment of journeymen with a trade they excel at to weave those collective talents into a property like no other that has "Y-O-U" written all over it. But that always considers re-sale potential. ludlow maine land for sale photo

So before you build, scan the available listing inventory on the current real estate market is always the best advice.

To make sure in our rural real estate market, nothing is available that's as close to what you need to solve your real estate puzzle today.

The right piece of property sells itself, is the solution today for what the property buyer needs. No arm twisting needed when the real estate match making is a solid fit that should last. Until life throws you a curve and time to move, relocate.

Just a few of existing properties for sale in the Houlton Maine area to consider.

The first a long, pretty ranch with hip roof, over 3 acres and plenty of marble, granite, cherry weaved into the housing. Sneak a peek at the video in the link for 283 North Street Houlton Maine 04730. Close to everything going on in Maine's oldest town but still offering the space of acreage not feet to keep you from feeling cramp or lacking the space you need. ludlow maine land for sale with two homes photo

If country calls your name, 80 acres of it on Moose Brook could be a better real estate fit.

Two houses, one the original farmstead. The other a contemporary home and like the above link, both are for sale way way before what it would cost in green cash to create.

If you like what you see, existing properties for sale always save you money. These two are maintained, no job jars attached. You can't say that about all existing property listings for sale in Maine. The skinny on the Aroostook County pair of houses with all this land. Farm, woods, waterfront land weighing in a 80 acres worth. See, hear, watch video in link for 867 / 875 Ludlow Road Ludlow Maine 04730.

One more, where the owner has about $525,000 and change into the lake front home with a big garage for all your water toys.

The place was gutted about ten years ago, addition carefully added and filled in with just the right stuff in all the right places. No junk in this trunk but sweet features sparkle like the 2.5 baths, the forever siding, decking and finished rec room over the over sized garage. drews lake home in maine photo

Sun room, paved drive, this is no camp or shack. One big beautiful lake in Maine, Drews is over 1000 acres large.

No smells, no loose ends. Get out on the waterfront not set up the saw horse time. Standing seam roof and much more because no expense was spared.

The right trio of contractors worked together as this lake front home in Maine experiment came out of the construction OR a total surgery success.

Watch, listen to the Drews Lake video in the link for 52 Salmon Lane New Limerick Maine 04761

Just three properties for sale, existing listings of local Houlton Maine area real estate offerings to consider.

Ther best home for you today may not be available and turning to build your own, hiring it built could be the only path to take. If you have the money and time and don't mind the unknowns, go for it. If you after gawking at what is out there you are still driven to build exactly what you want. And don't mind a little saw dust, the unknowns in new real estate building construction, we have your land front covered in spades. All sizes, types, locations of Maine land listings to pour over and consider too.

This is exactly what I want in my future, Andrew Mooers acreage and a place for me to create a new showplace just for me and Sandy. I am sure there are plenty of buyers out there who feel the same. Great presentation here!

Such great advice Andrew Mooers and soooo many buyers do not understand that they can usually buy resale cheaper & renovate vs. all depends on your wants & your area...have a wedding in Boothbay Harbor going Maine!

What you see if what you get with existing. With building there is added expense in time and money, unknowns. But if the buyer swings a hammer Ginny Gorman !

Good advice, Andrew.  There can be huge savings by buying an existing home (not to mention saving some headaches) as opposed to building a new one.
