Maine Real Estate For Sale !

The Sale Of A Maine Home, What Stays, Goes.

A house for sale usually has contents here and there.

Needed to enjoy living there. Unless the moving van just left and the place is ready for vacancy by the new Maine home buyer. But even though some home owners travel light, or load it up like a beat the buffet while living in the Maine home, there comes a time. maine garage contents photo

Where no matter how they lived and used the place, the lack of getting rid of old stuff means someone has to do it.

Unless the new Maine home owner thinks this cargo is pretty peachy keen.

Let's keep it around and sort through and reuse what we can.

Maybe have our own continuous garage sale instead of using those bays for vehicle storage.

Often the "toys" in the garage, sheds, around the Maine home can attract attention but cause the galloping gimmees. Would you throw those in for the same Maine house price?

A theme that the Berenstain Bears mentioned in one of there book highlight publications if I remember my bedtime story telling selections after all these years.

The big distinction is the way the buyer and seller of the Maine home look at the things laying around or even neatly packed away. Not the same way. And having to hire the removal, using the dumpster for the fees to tip them over at the transfer station. maine home interior photo

Whoever has that bill and chunk of time to perform the nasty duty suddenly can have a different viewpoint.

It depends on whose ox is getting gored right?

To empty out the home, all those levels, every single room and extra structure of its contents.

The thought can give you a mental hernia or thought process charlie horse cramp.

Reach the article on fixtures, what should find its way to the door before the house showing sales process gets underway.

Leave it or heave it? What stays, should go in a Maine home sale.

Andrew

It would be nice to buy a home that comes with a Corvette convertible in the garage.

Good luck and success.

Andrew - I hope the buyer didn't really think the Corvette would be included in the transaction.

Good morning Andrew,

Sometimes you just have to ask as you never know what someone will do at the right price!

Make yourself a great day.

Hi Andrew, it really can get messy when buyers and sellers "assume" something is staying or not.  Usually, happens right on the day of closing.

Silvia Dukes PA, REALTOR, CRS, CIPS, SRES ... You got that right. Have had a full lake home of furnishings that was new, nice, in place. And the buyer says nope. Get rid of it, deep six the stuff. Closing was next day. We rented a uhaul, made the suction to create open space room by room. Gave the stuff to needy local folks and lost garage for a few months storing it but all was good. The seller wanted none of it and lived too far away to get in gear quickly.

Your essay is fun to read, with memorable images. Buyers and Sellers in Aroostook County will be wise to connect with you.
