Maine Real Estate For Sale !

Worked With One House In Maine Renter Who Helped Sell Three Homes.

House in Maine rents, when the home owner needs that extra little infusion of monthly income until the hand held pager goes off.

The one they are holding out in the wild blue yonder lobby or life lounge. When the Maine home owner is living far far away and wants to eventually buy another home. But easy does it. One at a time. Keep moving forward slowly in the line.maine lake sunset photo

Delicate this business is renting a home that is for sale says Yoda.

Sensitivity to work with the renter, treat them like they are the owner. Kinda, sorta.

To a point. For thirty days at a time. But things can go sour.

Like an operation when you hear the guy or gal behind the surgical mask.

With the large Vail condo, huge alimony and Ferrari car payments  mutter "oh oh, that's not good". (Ventilator whoosh, monitor beep)

But it can swing the other way in the house renting operation and be snip snip efficient.

Like one day surgery and back on the housing race track NASCAR trick like a bunny. One renter we slid in to a Maine home had a husband finishing up a hitch of a 20 plus year career.

The renter, Mom and two air force trained boys who were taught to tuck in the corners of that bed so a smooth surface happened.

The kind where a quarter dropped on the bedspread would bounce high, wide and handsome. Ten hut.

Her Dad mowed lawns, plowed the Maine home snow like he was Mister Roger's delicate, careful. No lawn peeled back like it was astro turf ready to ship somewhere in the spring. No gouges, bare spots or neglect at this ship shape house rental home on the market to sell.

Like a utility designated hitter, brought in to win the game. To hit home runs.

She with the support team of the house renting family members helped me sell three Maine homes. Before eventually she and her husband built their own home on some Maine land. When Uncle Sam released him and Johnny came marching home. Hurrah hurrah.

A very interesting story Andrew and a pleasure to read. This show the more laid back attitude in Maine.

Nicely done, Andrew.  Sounds like a great family to work with.

Than ... We did profit a tad of a discount and she said I don't need a day's warning on showings, just 20 minutes and the place was always staged, ready to roll. Just find me another place easy to get along with. Better than the original owners is what happened.

Noah ... True story. She moved three times in the 18 months to finish out the hubby away's tour.

Gabe ... There are great renters. You, me Gabe would be corkers. We are always out listing, selling and only sleep at the place. Leave it hunky dory right?

Hi Andrew,

Marketing a home that has renters is delicate indeed. There are some great tips here on how to pull those challenging listings off.

S and L ... Indeed. I have seen a renter destroy a place, not make payments, thrown a house owner into foreclosure too. Those are not the places I hand picked the right tenant... but inherited one.

Andrew: Those kind of renters are hard to come by. Lucky homeowner. Lucky you.
