Cartoons Used To Be Saturday Mornings Only, Not Used For Real Estate.

You either got your fix of cartoons Saturday morning or that's it until they came around the next weekend.

You watched Wile E Coyote and the Road Runner go through pretty much everything in the ACME catalog of gadgets. Lots of cliff dropping, rockets flying and high speed chases ending in "BEEP BEEP" that sounded more like "MEEP MEEP" to me. Always wondered how Wile E was able to pay for all that gear that got expressed mailed in through out the show week after week. And destroyed like his carcass.

Now cartoons used cleverly to promote, inform happening. To set expectations, help list and sell real estate. Because there are lots of new exciting ways to market real estate on the Internet. To put information out there. Easy to digest. Two cartoon real estate videos made a while back.

Two Maine REALTORS Talk About Real Estate, What It Takes To List, Sell, Survive Video.

Today's real estate marketing is exciting, instant, far reaching. Or should be. Because it is not done just on the local level anymore. Not just a weekly insert blurry black and white image and skimpy, tired copy in the local newspaper. To read all about it. Nor just a sign on Real Estate, Not Just Read All About It Photothe lawn to sell your home if someone happens to be driving by either.

Your real estate buyer today is on the move, on the go.

Has less time to shop for the home, other types of real estate listings.

And the way you deliver it, the format determines how you reach him or not.

How big your audience is. Big audiences don't bother me in the least.

Because real estate is a numbers marketing game.

If he or she is on a hand held, mobile device, seeing, helping that segment of the audience means real estate video needed. It is the by far easiest, sometimes only way for them to have access. Stuck in a waiting room, at an airport for hours. Reach out.

For the connection, engagement, information transfer. To establish the relationship which is everything in the back and forth between real estate buyer, seller and the agent, broker, REALTOR.youtube video logo

Some real estate buyers like a story, narrative format which the video adapts to quite nicely. As you pull the new to the area buyer through the neighborhoods. Introducing them to the new folks, sights, sounds that they will be experiencing if they buy, retire, vacation or relocate in your local zip codes.

Blog posts for real estate topics are also an easy way to deliver more than just an MLS down and dirty yes, no, number fields of property listing information.

Like getting your news the long uncut version, a leisurely meal to graze on watching public broadcasting. Instead of a catchy sound bite and cute quick loop video clip drive through quick, like the MLS platform burst delivers.

The blog posts for real estate cover subjects needing addressing but not found on the large platform, major portals.

flickr mooersrealty photostream linkWhat works best in your local real estate market is what you should be doing more of, adding more attention and detail. Information and service providers. That's what we do round the clock. in a slew of ways, methods, styles.

Managing the media streams to make sure the other end of the signal is picking up your transmission loud and clear, wall to wall. All the time. To cause, make my the phone ring. The email server to heat up glowing red with inbox traffic. Which means more sales. Which causes the wonderful, delicious cycle of more listings. Are you using video, firing up your image channels to promote your area, your real estate property listings?

Andrew, personally I think some of these "cartoons" are hilarious, I've seen some really good ones! I think most consumers would catch the drift, dry sense of humor and sarcasm.  Actually they're not bad as informative tools.

Humor is a good way tio through a smile make a point. Our job is about education and expectations. What better way to give the buyer and seller an insight into what we do, how we do it. To help understand our job.
