Maine Real Estate For Sale !

Maine Association Of REALTORS Convention Underway In Portland ME.

The Maine Association Of REALTORS statewide annual meeting is in day two in Portland Maine.

maine lake island photoOff to a 6:30 class from Kim Coit who was there as the hall monitor when I got my Maine Real Estate Broker License back in th winter of 1979.

A trained lawyer and with lots of experiences in all aspects of the real estate industry in Maine, all the many changes, Kim is an old friend I look forward to learning from. Again. And again.

No man, No REALTOR is an island. I traveled 3.5 hours to get from Aroostook County to this year's REALTOR's meeting and am learning a lot.

Sharing, networking, and will be fully charged after unplugging from all the industry education by noon time Thursday.

When it is is time to head north of Interstate 95 to the beginning. Where it connects to the Trans Canada highway, the Gateway to the Atlantic provinces!MAR photo

Every year we blog about the Maine Association Of REALTORS meeting.

Sometimes in Bar Harbor, often in Rockland at the Samoset Resort.

Or off to Sugarloaf, Sunday River ski resorts. But always a take away.

To learn and apply to shape how you list, market, sell (repeat) the most memorable, efficient and yes fun way possible.

Every market in Maine is different for real estate. The home that is an average priced $71,000 typical house in Northern maine fall foliage leaf photoMaine costs $191,000 in the Portland area market. So the marketing is a little different, the audience not quite the same.

And what's big in one area due to the more land, open space is not the target audience where the acreage is smaller, population a little more dense. And the coastal market for real estate in Maine is another unique playing field for property buyers. So how the marketing happens depends on which area of Maine you happen to live, work and play in and know inside and out.

Maine, she's big, beautiful, unfiltered, all natural.

There is never an end to learning in the real estate business.  Those brokers/agents who take advantage of the education are the ones that excel.

Andrew what a beautiful photograph. I love Maine (what I can remember). It's been many years but as a kid in the 60's my parents used to take us on family vacations during August and one year we went to Maine. We went all along the coast and I bet at my P's house in the attic there are some old pictures taken with a Kodak Instamatic.

Anyone thinking of buying or selling you home should contact Andrew Mooers.

Andrew, I've never been to Maine but heard nothing but great things. There will be many take aways for all in attendance. Brokers/Agents should never..ever..ever stop learning!

Gabe ... So right. Enjoy the journey called life.

Alan ... Thanks for popping in. It is so worthwhile but ready to head home and apply what I have learned.

Noah ... Did out those images, scan and post! Everyone someone has a Maine story to tell!

Beth .. Except you so we have to change that. Come to Maine, the way life should be. You stop learning only by death. Open the eyes, ears, heart and just consider what if. New ways can threaten some because they fear you mean I have to change the way I thinking about this, that? Modified, slow tweaking to get more from the experience works so well.

Open to all things educational in real estate...and networking opportunities....we know you didn't just learn but had a ton to contribute as well.

Hi Andrew,

I hope that you are enjoying your state wide meeting.   That picture does a great job of highlighting the no man is an island concept.  I like it.

Have a productive day.

Hi Andrew, Thanks for commenting on my post. I vacationed to Bar Harbor years ago and just loved it.  I would like to return some day.  I can see the price differences in the areas.
