This is an incredible bargain! I have noticed looking through your listings that some do not have garages. With the amount of inclement weather in Maine, I have two questions. Is it expensive to add a two car garage in Houlton as building costs vary so much by locale? Is it difficult to get necessary permits for garages within the city?

No problem with permits..used to be chairman of the zoning board.  You can build garage within ten feet from property line and with neighbor's permission, right up to the property line. Better to back off a tad for that ladder to paint or remove snow though and you better know where the line is. Not expensive..I know one carpenter that is $15 per hour and does great work!
