Do Real Estate Agents, Brokers, REALTORS Take Requests? Yes.. They Do.

When you list, market, sell (repeat) ME Real estate property listings, lots of requests come in along with the many round trips to long table conference room closings.

It is not all about the imagery, information copy, videos we produce and upload to the slew of niche, specialized platforms around the online communities. No no. It is about the relationships you build along the way.

And because every person is special, unique and has a different sets of needs, how we do the real estate hokey pokey varies depending on the situation. Hey.

So like a waitress, radio announcer, hair dresser, do we take requests? You bet we do. Have it your way is the only way to roll these days. And quick like a bunny while you are at it because your real estate buyer lives the day to day blur like they are permanently double parked. In one major hurry. All the time. The meter's running. Chop chop be quick about it young man. Pretty darn anxious, nervous, worried much of the time in many cases is what we run into on a daily basis. A lot on their mind. The meter is running and could you please help me do this, arrange that, ask this, explain that?

So requests to add a little brevity to the peddling of property listings in Maine, include can I have one of your real estate signs and a SOLD rider to play a little prank? A buyer of a property north of Houlton Maine wanted one to plant on the front lawn of busy US Rt 1. So their parents could have a little shock when they returned from a long trip. And to for a moment think the kids went and sold the property while they were gone. To give the impression they were coming home to a place that was no longer theirs. Whoa thought the tired sellers as they rolled into their dooryard and saw the red, white and blue silent salesman working his charm. No matter what the weather like the post man that must make his rounds.

So Maine real estate agents, brokers, REALTORS, do they take simple, special requests?

Sure we do. Whatever it takes to satisfy. To have fun in the list market, sell (repeat). There is lots more that gets done behind the scenes to make property sales in Maine happen for sure.  Yesterday rented a small uhaul truck to clean out what the buyer for a lake home in Maine did not want. That the seller could not move in time to preserve a sale and that needed removal pronto. And the lawn was not mowed, another request, okay, demand of the buyer. Guess who makes it happen when the request comes in? You got it. Whatever it takes.

Yes, Andrew, we take special requests. Some are fairly easy to accommodate, some a bit more difficult, but we try.

Roger roger.... Like the cruise ship ivory tickler singer who gets asked to sing "Piano Man" by Billy Joel for the fourtheenth time that evening. "Sure" he says with a smile and quickly segues into the song they want, not the one he had in mind in the rotation to make the room happy as a whole. One by one requests to pamper, VIP is what service providers do.

Good Morning Andrew - I believe the way agents handle the special requests is what determines whether they will have repeat clients and a solid referral business in the future or if they must always be looking for new clients.

Hi Andrew. Loved the video. I'm down here in Portland, Maine. We have a lot in common. I too went to UMO and I worked at WZON while in college. I've been in Real Estate for just under 10 years. I moved here from Boston and never looked back.
