Maine Real Estate For Sale !

Real Estate Bloggers Are Cub Reporters, Eye Witness News Types Of Sorts.

The local community events that happen around the sticks and bricks, the ME real estate.

The blogger who lives, works, plays in the local turf has to carry a reporter's tall, ringed topped notebook. To get the who, what, why, how and where.

Because what goes on in a small Maine town is often the reason to buy, move, retire or relocate there. Tell me about your area. What is it like doing the day to day there?

Real estate is an emotional experience. Your life unfolds, plays out the way it does shaped by where you live.

Your family grows up in a friendly small town without the crime. No gangs, no drive by shootings.

Not 1500 kids in a graduating class herding the halls with police german sheperds and metal detectors if you pick Maine.

So when we blog, the angle of the story can be so varied.

What ice cream flavor would you order if in this line at a Maine dairy bar window ?

Not the same as me right? And not the same one every time for you either?

The approach to the local beat has lots of possibilities of where to start, end up. For example, a story about the Parkview Terrace in Houlton Maine hunt and pecked this morning was gathered eating lunch yesterday. At the counter of another restuarant by quizzing one of the sons who worked there. The story could be the new owners, what their plans are in the present, for the future. Or the 40 years plus before that led to all the history, milestones, success in the rise to fame and fortune.

video real estate cameraWith Maine real estate listings same applies. How you size up the property, the owner's situation and what is the job at hand takes thought. Like an artist thinking what color, how to shade, what angle, time of year and on and on. For how the final production hits, affects, moves you. Or not.

The real estate listing marketing direction that is best to take needs a strategy.

To use in the show and tell, from the list to the final handshake at the real estate closing. When everyone gets up, smiles, reaches out to wish all in the room the best of luck. To thank all the players that made this sale possible and had a part in getting the property listing transfer completed.

Give a brand new listing, fresh out of the box to ten real estate agents, brokers, REALTORS and you could have just as many varied approaches to how best to transfer, relay information. The way you shoot the images, the number of them and how creative.

How much invested in the equipment to make them sparkle? Not just to wow and cause oohs and ahhs but to relay here is what this real estate gem is all about. The video loops shot and edited, rendered, uploaded the same hit or miss success. For everyone in the audience to tap into and stay on board to watch and listen. Or dismiss as not the one for them. And ask what else do you have a little bit like it, but with this, this and that added in or missing altogether ? It need more cowbell happens.

Detailed copy with good real estate note taking and lots of listening after asking the right questions helps too. Because the MLS quick down and dirty yes, no, and number fields only means how do you explain the entire property? Not going to adequately cover all the bases for the 5-3-1 shoebox ranch or other new property listing. No spaces big enough or at all to explain the property. To introduce it to the buyer who is ready, willing and able. Maine, I live here and am a personal fan. Way beyond just part of my job wearing the blue and gold "R". Not all business.

You're selling a community and a lifestyle Andy, as it should be.  The right house can be found anywhere, but you provide the best location for that type of lifestyle by blogging about your community.  Any frozen yogurt?  That would be my choice, maybe something with some strawberries.

Roger ... Roger. Right right about that (that). Hold it, turning down reverberation in the blog post room. There, better. Where it is starts before the what it is. Tell me a story about your area, what you are high as a kite, passionate to live there, raise your family here. Be the local tour guide, hand them an ice cream of knowledge. Delicious, helpful, real hard information. Or soft serve. Strawberry frogut with all the jimmies, sprinkles, juju razzle dazzle pieces please.

Andrew -- you're so right --- people buy communities and lifestyle not just a house -- in fact it's still a house until people move in and make it a home.

Andrew  I agree your are is idyllic, but so was Newtown, CT.  We loved it when we lived in the area just two miles out of town.  There is no gun control law that will keep a lunatic from surfacing in an unsuspecting area.  I firmly believe in the 2nd Amendment - changing it will not stop mass murders

Even the ice cream cones are bigger in Maine.

Good luck and success.

Hi Andrew, I attended local events, took pictures and asked questions, I do get mistaken for being a reporter.

KK ... Had used the Newtown Bee for one of the marketing rotations for certain property types in the past so the name registered as a place I knew on the map. Less people in an area makes less of the lousy element too. I think folks in too big a hurry, jammed in and with lots of unmet needs or thinking folks don't do this or that just to provoke them is a hard enemy to corral, control though. I am glad it does not happen more too.

LL ... You betcha.

KW... We report like Christopher Columbus what we see in our day to day... except instantly not after months on the high seas and the crew getting antsy, missing home port.
