Story Telling In Real Estate Marketing, You Loved Them As A Kid Right?

maine camp fire photo

Tell me a story, bedtime ritual with the kids and as adults around the open Maine camp fire.

Weaving the wisdom, humor, one more effort to unlock a mystery of life into something entertaining.

Simple and easy like sugar added to the medicine.

To help it all go down the pipe, get digested completely. And hopefully recalled. Retold. Ending happily ever after. The end.

Creative happens easier if you like what you do. Enjoy people.

Are in the right place and profession at whatever stage of your life.

Story telling does not mean fibbing, stretching, spinning a yawn meant to hurt or deceive.

It is just making the facts a little more interesting.

No one is out to take advantage of any one.

Just a sincere effort to shake up the delivery, communications a tad. Because with blogging, you don't see the facial cues. No pregnant pause before something is said for emphasis. No raised eyebrow, hand gestures waving to make a point. To show how serious, passionate you are about a subject or issue. maine story telling plays

The voice heard in hitching a ride on the recycled electrons in the real estate property listing hunt and peck.

Done with your tongue tip showing the effort that only you can see from this side of the monitor glass.

Oh sure you can add a colored, larger font to build into the blog message something more. Sprinkle it with graphics, images and more white space.

But tone of voice in the written word means you have to create the sparkle, added communication with words not inflection.

Selling the sizzle not the steak so no one is left winking at a girl in the dark which always gets pretty poor results.

So over the years here on Active Rain blog, have posted a few tales.

Reworked some old classic stories to bring them into today with a real estate related emphasis in the overhaul. Hope you like real estate stories wrapped around an old familiar theme ....

Snow White Pins On The REALTOR "R".

What Was Real Estate Like In Early Caveman Days?

Kids Grown, Wilma And Betty Go Into Real Estate List And Sell.

Early REALTOR, Chris Columbus Worked Hard To Find Land, New Property.

Maine, big state, less people, drop dead gorgeous four season natural surroundings. Come for a day, then just try to stay away. End up staying a life time.

Andrew - I love using analogies specific to the buyer or seller's line of work: instant relevance!

You are a visual artist AND a poetic lyricist

Carol ... Me too! Another way to look at, consider things. Whole new approach on an old topic keeps it interesting, fresh.

S and J ...Just a guy who sports the blue and gold "R" like the rest of us. "R", the RRrrrrrrr hardest working letter of the alphabet. Early REALTORS must have been brought into play because of the free for all in real estate, when it was run by pirates. Needed some rules, law and order.

Thanks Frank! The productions, point, shoot, edit, render upload of Videos For ME Real Estate Property Listings. They do the show and tell so easy, powerfully and don't have to be emmy or cleo winner, candidate at the awards dinners broadcast coast to coast and around the world to do the heavy lifting of marketing your local zip codes.

Andrew, sometimes I'm convinced that you live in a different universe.

Patrica ...Thank you I guess. Either you are talking Maine is so much different than the beltway, the city. Or far out, like our office is HQ'ed in Pluto, Saturn, on one of the moons of Jupiter.

Kim ... Ask my kids. Two of them are in Colorado! One in last semester at Colorado College in C Springs! Whipped up a video back in 2009 going into the college sheepskin experience in your neck of the woods.

Rosemary ... Glad it gave the emotions a full meal deal work out! Stop be a stranger, stop back in anytime.

Pat ... Thanks for the post "knighting". (Getting back up from kneeling) I appreciate the spotlight in your herd them up, round them together blog post buffet collection for readers to graze on, learn from today.
