Being parked on the New Brunswick border living in Maine, we get asked for real estate that is right on the boundary with Canada.
Not because the buyer is a drug smuggler, terrorist I hope.
But the intrigue of being right on the border of two countries is kinda awesome.
Living in Maine, peddling property listings can make the border something we don't thing of all the time.
But heading over to Woodstock New Brunswick especially when two boys were hockey playing at the neat Carleton County arena there and others around it, it is special to be this close. And to ski at Crabbe Mountain in Canada with all the kids. Being handy to the Maine coast lighthouses is pretty neat to when you live in Vacationland.
So two properties, listings for real estate on the Maine Canadian border to consider.
One is just East Hodgdon Maine land. The other property listing is a Monticello Maine log home with 54 acres of land. Both are excellent examples of smack dab on the Maine / Canadian US border boundary. See lots of US Border Patrol cars and SUV's, pickups at these locations but not many other people. Unless they are lost. Or up to no good fishing around the border to avoid detection at the US port of entry.
Maine, big state, neat to live here in Vacationland full time to explore.
