A problem with the uploading of a video file on REALTOR dot com and after third attempt, better make a call in to see if something is unique to you.
Or system wide on the platform with the big blue "R" on the front door mat to the glass ivory towers headquarters.
You have called before with glitches and always thought if you were on that end of the service request, what you would NOT do.
For starters, making the caller every time they call over the years verify contact information, all the nitty gritty means the quick call to get a ticket launched with NASCAR efficiency, to get back on the road is shot. And you remember every time you call the information is the same but faith the original REALTOR dot com employee that set up your enhanced site, showcase features may be the problem. So here comes the script and the series of "yes, yes, yes" and another "yes". Sometimes you are asked if you would like to take a little survey.
Ah, not really. And when a problem persists, I don't think you really want a survey taken right about now. There is a wrench in the gears on your end big "R". The survey responses are not going to be so rosy, upbeat because the downtime with the persistent problem is a time drain.
You can email in the alert that "we have a problem Houston. I mean Chicago. Or California" or wherever the call center is. But when all you eventually get is a ticket with a number, it means follow up from the broker, agent, REALTOR's end to find out how we are doing. Knowing the problem persists.
Video uploading, when the platform stops, comes to a screeching halt, there is is silence... the painful expensive kind.It is comforting when you finally learn after ten minutes, the dog and pony question on contact information ritual is over that can not be deviated from, that the big "R" is having problems. Others are not able to upload videos. And you go on to other real estate marketing chores.
I hope the size of video projects, files is finally increased, doubled on REALTOR dot com too.
A slide show with Kenny G is easily able to get under the limbo pole. Doesn't matter. But anyone without the fear of real estate video, knows what is needed. That other platforms provide. A working farm, waterfront sporting lodge with lots of elements, separate structures means too heavy editing in process leading up to the rendering for upload.
Come back the next day, fire up the uploading, or try to and nope. Still broken. No email, no call until it is time to re-instate the custom REALTOR package of enhancements when everything is upbeat, friendly and what's your credit card number, the expiration date is asked nonchalantly.
Follow up calls or emails, fixing the problem, glitch quickly or explaining why the further delay is the life blood of our business as service providers.
Competition from Zillow, Trulia, other players makes the process streamline.... or opens the door for other options in marketing on line where there are many vendors, players. Maine, big state, less people, four season unspoiled beauty. Get here quick as you can.
