Maine Farm Tractors, Antique Collecting Can Be Addictive.

Watch the Maine video and jump to 7:59 to see the big collection of Massey Harris, Ferguson farm tractors.

Nostalgic and maine farm field hayingcan not resist them? Caution then, toggle with care the video.

The love of Maine farm tractors goes way way back.

I admit testing positive for the disease and own a Super M Farmall, the Divine Miss M, a cougar.

More and more folks are catching the farm tractor bug.

Collecting to put them back to work.

Fixing up the old Maine farm tractors too.

Many people are worried about what they are eating and running out of food.

Especially the eight out of ten people living in the urban, city areas. Food is pretty nice to have a supply of three times a day.

Food. Right up there with air and water as not luxuries, but necessities.

When you get hungry, do you wonder where you next meal is coming from? Or what you are eating, putting in your body and feeding your family?

See Parade Farm Tractors, But Hear Massey Harris Collector Bobby Bartlett Tell His Story At 7:59 Video Mark.

The new farm tractors, farming with eight and more rows at a time planting, harvesting are not what the 1953 Super M remembers in her childhood. She was right in the two row heading in to four row at the end of her career time frame of Maine farming. Did someone in your family farm? Do you remember visiting, working on one growing up? Can you see yourself owning, running a Maine farm?

Scope out the videos for Maine farms. Consider the farm way of life. Back in the 1800's, 96% of us were farmers of one kind or another. There is a swing back to the safe, family way of life where fresh, wholesome, nutritious food is what you put on the table and enjoy. Get your Farmall Red International tractors working the soil. Raising crops with a John Deere green and yellow machine or a green Oliver, red Massey Harris, Ferguson. Or maybe a gray Ford 8N, something blue like a New Holland or other variety farm tractor. Big boy toys. Like Bobby Bartlett With 48 red tractors. Restored or heading that way.

Andy, great post. I loved hearing the story about how he got started collecting the tractors. I also liked the way you wove the tractors, fair, memories to invite persons to look at your farm listings. Very nice.

Cal ... We have a Maine Agricultural Museum in Littleton Maine where Bobby lives. I wonder if those tractors some day will all be at that museum.
