The State Of Maine Is A Pretty Photogenic State... No Need For Harsh Lights, Make Up.

Maine is a natural, drop dead gorgeous, stunning beauty. Capturing her four sides, all seasons of the year means a photographer is pretty busy.

If you think Maine is just sea coast, lobsters and light houses alone with Downeast dry humor, that is only one small brief glimpse in to the Vacationland portal. The image the 100 cruise ships off shore loaded with far away passengers row to the mainland, come ashore to sample.

Then go home with their Maine memorabilia, post cards, t shirts.

Carrying happy bellies full of seafood delicacies.

I haven't been to many places in Maine, but I have been to your home town on business some years back, and it is a pretty area,. I do however prefer to go up there in the warm months, however.

Ed ... If you're cold, you're not dressed right. Come on back up in winter, we'll put a set of leather snow bib pants and insulated space age leather jacket on you with neck warmer, a full coverage snowsled helmet and gauntlet gloves. Then slide you on a snowsled and head out to see the Maine very few people get to. From on top of a foothill, parked by a roaring river. Where we just drink it in and not a lot of talking as you see a white tail deer trot by, an eagle fly over and then swoop for a field mouse lunch. The value meal hoping to super size it later with his 20 20 vision. Have four sleds, extra sled boots, etc. The new machines have electric thumb warmers, radiation under your feet, and you are behind a windshield as you hit the trail, pull the trigger. Winter is one of my favorite seasons. We do not park it on a couch holding a channel changer high in one hand tapping the controller with one finger. While the other hand dips repeatedly in to a large bowl of cheesos as the months fly by.

Andrew - I have friends who often visit Maine.  They tell me wonderful things about your state.  I like your picture of the moose, and the one with the little islands.  Fascinating scenes.

Myrl ... Thanks for popping in. Your friends are right, test positive for major fans of Vacationland. I am too, guilty as charged. The moose I captured with video and stills listing a 45 acre parcel in Springfield Maine. Brokers needs to keep the safety off their video and single shot "guns", cameras. Islands of MDI / Bar Harbor Region. The happy winter youth was my neighbor defending a fort in my back yard. Kids get lots of fresh air, like their mom and dads do too.
