Never listed one but I did show a house once that gave me an extremely uneasy feeling while I was inside. The second I left I felt fine. It was enough I probably would not have went back for another showing.

Randy ... I had one of those when we woke up a Rottweiler who at first was friendly and then realized wait a minute, my owner the renter of the place never mentioned company and I better protect the place. Got out just in time. All of us. It does not matter if you believe in the spirits, spooks or not but the reputation or story telling skills of former tenants, owners can scare buyers away after they start hearing paranormal level stories from friends, family, co-workers.

Not least not that I know of...But I have had addition to changing the locks of course....have house cleansings and blessings...and implanting postive vibes ....not sure if chasing evil spirits was part of the ceremony.

No, but I think it would be interesting to do so.  I lived in a house once that was haunted!

Andrew - I just noticed you are from Maine - one of my favorite states and so beautiful. I'm going to Bar Harbor this summer for some kayaking and can't wait! (NJ's not that far!)

Sally and David ... adding positive vibes.  Hmmm. Central sound system for the tuneage? Or colors to ward off, fend off spirits. Like red attracts, irritates bulls thinking?

Cindy ... Ex's, bad Karma and married, but living alone can make them feel that way. I'm just saying.

Kristine ... I am a personal fan of Maine. Lob-STAHS await. Lighthouses, seacoasts part of Maine, but one big honking state to sample. Come north, ski the southwest, hike Baxter, see Maine from a top Mt Katahdin is a hoot too.

My partner and I have both sold houses where there have been suicides.  No disclosure needed, but it will come out anyway so you might as well let prospective buyers know if you are aware of the situation and let them decide.

Don ... The place for a Stephen King novel made in to a movie script could fetch more on the market, might add to the value. I worked at a Bangor Maine broadcast station he owns 31 years ago! Here is where Stephen King lives on West Broadway in Bangor Maine.
