Ask Smokey the Bear...or maybe Yogi if he has some pals who might like this....we have much the same sort of thing in northern Wisconsin and dotted throughout this area there are newer ones for the folks who just can't seem to get enough logs !

Smarter than your average bear...high tail it to Maine. I bet Wisconsin is similiar. The Hilton in the woods, eating home made beans, a mean green bean casserole, fiddleheads and "mystery meat".

Andrew...Everyone wants a cabin in the woods, until they realize the privacy they seek mean you are out -far away fro civilization, and a trip to the store is a major enterprise."I want privacy-but can walk to the store" that is what I hear all the time, it hard to find that combination.

Camping means different things to folks. It might mean this kind of log cabin, sitting around an open fire, cooking bacon and beans. Or it might be a million dollar land yatch with HBO, air conditioning!

When I lived in northern Minnesota we always carried chain saws in our vehicles, just in case.

Love the log cabin look and they are a great "green" investment. Perfect for those long Maine winters.
