Maine Fall Leave Foliage Colors Not Peaked In Aroostook County Yet.

The Maine fall foliage colors are getting richer, more varied as the days go by.

Andy...I miss visiting my brother in Lewiston this time of year...He moved back to Pennsylvania a couple of years ago...The drive to and from was always fabulous...Enjoy the day.

Fall is a time when trees pop out and try to be noticed. I love how that red one succeeded behind the white cottage. Don't you just love the reflection of color in the water? What lake or pond is this? I used to live in a cabin off the shores of Moose Pond when I worked for Wyonegonic Camps in Denmark Maine. There were loons there during the summer. Do you get loons on your lake? If so, are they still there at this time of the year?
