The lightening rod attracts the electrical charge, directing the strike to a ground.
The common ground stake that all the rods tie in

to in intricate grid like fashion. Your real estate website is like that. The hardworking round the clock videos on real estate and the local community you serve bring traffic, eyeballs and ears to your website.
All your blog posts, podcasts, social media, sharp uploaded images, well written copy do the same. Put your property, your area, your brand on the map. Creating a tractor beam to pull in traffic. To hit the audience like lightning, but then retreat, return with that viewer, surfer to the real estate beehive, your website.
With marketing you want to hit as large an audience as you can. And to tap them on the shoulder often, frequently to stay in their consumer thoughts.
When they think real estate, you want to be the image in their head that appears in neon, branded deeply as the go to source, now or years from now.
Above the rest, uniquely different and creative. You want to get the attention of the customer, to picque their interest. You want to build their desire and then kick them into gear to get in to action. All your media streams should have the same common mission, built with the same goal, purpose in mind. Are you using all the media streams, feeding them to attract, provide information, some "
real estate lightning"? For example,
real estate video...you need to be shooting, editing, uploading and weaving
real estate video in to your listing marketing. It's beyond time actually if you consider 100 million folks watch over one billion videos...EACH MONTH.
Maine REALTOR Andrew Mooers
Hi, Andy. GREAT picture...sure makes your point. I love the idea that once you put it out there, you can get some sleep and it keeps working!
Like planting a real estate garden...a chia pet that brinks back blosson after blossom. But you can not harvest unless you plant the many real estate seeds needed to get the word out about your new listing. Don't keep it a secret. Go global, world wide because you can now with the help of tons of neat tools. The days of just a sign sliced in to the lawn, a local ad with so so copy, a hastily taken black and white poloroid are over. Been over. Thanks for popping in Leslie.
Very cool picture and an even better post, I really do need to focus more on the real estate aspect of my marketing!
Andrew -
Good advice. Thanks for the "Realtor TV" link also.
Thanks Russ and Joel. You list a property...that is only the beginning. Load the real estate howitzers, and start sending wave after wave of media splash about the listing in every form of showcasing of the property available on earth. The days of just one element of marketing real estate are over. Not just a write up, not just images, not just video, not just blogs, podcasts, social media blurbs...it's a combination of them all because you and I have five senses..not just eyeballs, ears to get attracted, aware of real estate with.
Andrew I think you hit the nail on the head with your title. It should always be about getting consumers to your website.
Hi Andrew!
Thanks again for another great post!
Getting clients to your site is like fly fishing!
