Maine Real Estate For Sale !

Mouthwatering...Do You Describe The Real Estate You Sell That Causes Hunger Pangs?

Here's the definition.

mouthwatering - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

Main Entry: mouth·wa·ter·ing; Pronunciation: \-ˌwȯ-tə-riŋ, -ˌwä-\; Function: adjective; Date: 1900. : arousing the appetite : tantalizingly delicious or ...

Don't think of real estate in this way, using this term? You should. And not just high end expensive swanky real estate brook image pictureplaces for the rich and famous that have the ingredients, the face cards to play to achieve the appetitie arousal easily either. In Maine, what we don't have is just as important a list. No crime, No traffic. You can see the bright stars overhead at night because there is no pollution.

Lots of people in an area mess up the area and require lots of rules, many guidelines and a long long list of do's and don'ts....mostly don't do this, can't do that.

In Maine a real estate broker brags up the four seasons, the coastal lighthouses, the rugged interior mountains and rolling farm fields for a pretty big, varied geographic state. We have lots of eye candy images of the area to play like cards in a game.

But the day to day pleasant surprises of living here, or investing in recreational property for vacation use includes many items that affect your pocket book. Many times the plus of living here is what we don't have, how much lower cost day to day is in Maine. For example, a Ford Taurus insurnace bill in say Attleboro MA is three times the cost of what the same Ford Taurus, not a Porsche, would cost to insure in say Aroostook County. Why? not six lanes of traffic to head on collide with when the teenage driver of the car in the wreck with you is busy tex messaging and eating a whopper, doing her nails while she trys to drive. Also, car thieves are lazy and who is going to travel 6.5 hours from Boston, Massachusetts and 8 hours from Providence Rhode Island for example to heist a Ford Taurus? And if they are looking for flashing, bling bling cars like Rolls Royces, Ferrari and expensive European imports, not maine farm field view imagegoing to find any in Northern Maine.

To locals, a luxury car is one without payments, that has been carefully shopped for, maintained and waxed/detailed religiously and taken care of. A car with no payments that is dependable transportation from "A" to "B" looks pretty swanky.

No payment, no worry about how you are going to pay for the ride if you lost your job, got sick and income fell off. We sleep better nights NOT owing money. We don't need a flashing piece of metal on four wheels in the yard to impress out neighbor. We don't have many neighbors with eleven people per square mile.

Work ethic, living within your means, raising politie, studious, hard working youth who can take care of themselves, and who respect other people's property, feelings, lives is key. Small town rural Maine living? Are you ready to make the leap? Maine. What are you waiting for, what is holding you back? Get here just as quick as you can.

WoW! That has to be tough in some areas. Pushing 4 seasons in Maine-- summer lasts a week around the 4th of July. The other seasons- pre-winter, winter, and post-winter seem to be described by the amount of snow on the ground. Less than 3 feet of snow and it is not winter.

Seriously, I have a friend in Maine. Every June I tease him by sending something from the beach. Last year I asked him to send some venison, he asked for a beach bunny.

I think people that have never been here think dog sleds, igloos, 40 below with shingles ripping of the roof like in the Rudolph movie and six months of darkness, no sun. Maine is not Siberia and the average winter temperature is 19 degrees. Watch this video and see if anyone is shivering, hibernating with a pile of blankets on a couch and dreading winter? Winter skiing, snowsledding, pond hockey and ice fishing are super fun and winter is  one of my favorite seasons. It's humidity and feeling sick from swealtering heat that this body is not built for.

This is an image from the lake I am lucky to live on summers from last night...lucky to live in Maine.
