I remember in Salem Oregon and Kingman Arizona there were strong, fierce competitor pockets of soap box derby racers when I was lucky enough to take two trips with a daughter and a son to Akron Ohio in 1998 and 2001 for the All American soap box derby race. Are you near Kingman? Have been to Tuscon for a buddy who got married and went down thru Rio Rico and by Nogales in Mexico with a town of the same name! You live in a nice area Mike!
