Which type are you?
Oh sure. There are artistic, love to woo a crowd on your feet or introverted somewhat

geeky types too. But we are talking about the main CPU, the mother board on how you are wired once you strip away the bells and whistles that are listed on your "build sheet" like the ones in Detroit plastered on the new car windows. Vocation folks...many grew up on a farm, or in a family business and working is a kick, how they are built, what they are good at, disciplined to do. Hopefully they also possess an "off switch" to shut down to relax in recreation, with families and to do something other than Little Red Hen work, work, work. But for these folks, work is a pleasure, a passion and they don't consider it work, or hard.
And then we have the vacation people. These guys know how to have fun. They eat, drink and are very merry. Oh sure, they work...a little.
But the main focus is this weekend's party, the golf game tonight after work,

their softball tournament next sunday. The Maine lobster / clam bake is a regular event. Lots of friends are around, the social life gets an "A" rating. They figure life was made for recreation, travel, fine meals, good company and maybe something to drink along the way. Sample this, that. Live life to the fullest and don't get bogged down with work, work, work and worry.
Some of the vacation people work very hard to get out of work too. They do what they have to to keep the wolf away from the door, to feed their family if they have one. But fun is the driving factor. Some vacation types never grew up, don't have families. And of course with the two extremes there are you and I, in the middle somewhere. We love our jobs as real estate peddlers, processors, handlers. But we also have other events, experiences we plan for. Family ski trips, sporting circuits, island cruises, outdoor recreation. Which are you? Vocation or Vacation?
